What To Expect

What To Expect When You Visit-3At LifeSpring we worship each Sunday at 10:30 AM. Our desire is for believers to be encouraged and challenged in their faith and for unbelievers to experience the unconditional love of Christ.

How Do I Get There?

We are located at 1701 Hickory Valley Rd in Chattanooga, TN. Click HERE for a map and directions.

Where Should I Go When I Arrive?

All three of our main entrances (both side main entrances and the rear entrance) will take you into our main hall. Whether you are attending one of our Sunday Morning Electives (at 9:30 AM) or our worship service (at 10:30 AM), we will have someone available to guide you to where you need to go.

What is Your Music Like?

The music we sing at LifeSpring is a blend of old and new. We love the doctrinally rich hymns of the sixteenth century as well as the doctrinally rich songs that are being written today.

We highlight congregational singing, which emphasizes the gathered body singing praise to God with one voice. Performed music tends to highlight the abilities of some while encouraging the rest to be spectators. We want all in attendance to be actively involved in the worship of God.

What are the Sermons Like?

The preaching at LifeSpring is generally expositional, meaning that it seeks to make the point of the biblical text the point of the sermon. Sermons usually last about 30-45 minutes. On a regular basis, our sermon series alternate between the Old and New Testaments. All preaching is driven by the Gospel, the Bible’s main message of God saving sinners through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our pastor, Dr. Jeremy Wallace, seeks to not only give information, but also help with application.

How Does the Service End?

At the conclusion of the sermon, the congregation remains in their seats for a time of silent reflection and prayer (There is usually soft muisc in the background). Our pastor will then close the service with prayer. A typical service is finished by 11:45 pm.

What's Available for My Kids?

We have a well-equipped nursery for newborns through age 3. We offer children's church on the first and third Sunday of each month for children ages 3-6. We also offer a program at 9:30 AM on Sunday mornings called KidsLife that is designed to teach your children the wonderful truth of God's love.

Our nursery, children, and youth programs are staffed by workers who have passed a background check.

Do I Have to Put Money in the Offering Plate?

No. We actually do not pass an offering plate. There is an offering box located in the rear of the auditorium for those wishing to give.

What Should I Wear?

Dress trends toward business-casual, though you can find anything from jeans to suits.
